Photos that I am not using for Aaron

This was my first draft image of Aaron. After having another photo shot I didn't like this image because it looked like a mug shot of Aaron going to prison.
This was an image from my second photo shot. I haven't used this image because Aaron's hair is blowing from the wind.
I haven't used this image because Aaron wasn't ready for the photo.
I haven't used this photo of Aaron because mainly Aaron's smile looks fake. Another reason why I haven't used this image is because of the shadow that he made on the background.

Photos for Andrew & Tom that I am not using

I didn't use this photo of tom because it looked to plain and there was to much of the background in the picture. I took this picture because I was thinking of doing an individual image for both Andrew and Tom and having just a close up of their face.
I liked this photo and the location but I didn't like the grass or Tom not looking at the camera. I would have chosen this image if the grass was a hard surface instead and if tom was looking at the camera.
This image wasn't chosen because of the same reason for Toms individual photo. But also they are a duo so it would be better if the image was of them together.
I really liked this image of Tom and Andrew. However, the reason why I didn't chose this image was because I didn't like that they were both looking away from the camera and the angle of the image.

  • Adding the shape to the left hand side of the double paged spread
  • Taking away the names of the duo as it looked un-professional and un-like an indie magazine.

First draft mark

After my first draft I will be needing to make a lot of improvements. These improvements are the text and font. I will need to vary my fonts over all three of the pages and the size of the text should be relevant. For example, the front covers main article should be in a bigger and bolder font then the rest of the front cover. Another main improvement will be to manipulate the images that I have. Doing these two main improvements will make my mark increase.

Reasons for my model choices

Andrew:
I chose to use Andrew as a model because he fits the looks for my genre (Indie). This will be a key part of the model chose as Andrew fit into the look and style of the genre.

Tom:
I have chosen Tom to be a model and also part of a duo with Andrew because they look good together. When they stand next to each other they look good as they are both a similar height.

Aaron:
I have chosen Aaron to be my front cover model because he is tool and he also fits the Indie genre. The main reason for this is because his hair. Aaron's hair is up-to-date with fashion and also is natural as he puts no gel or wax into it.

Learning how to change the size of the Emaze post

This is the blog post of where I had the Emaze post to big for the blog wall. I needed to change the size of the post.

This is where I edited the width of the Emaze presentation. It was originally set to 960px and this was to big. The height of the post was fine it was just the width.
I changed the width to 600px and it was still to big so I eventually found out that 500px was a good size to have.
This is what the blog post looked like after the process of changing the width.
